Hello, its has been a long time since I blogged on  my site, maybe a year or so ago. This site has only 60 visits a month by search engines but lets try to turn that around.

I am going to blog about creating this eCommerce store. I will not reveal the niche, products or keywords because not all the people that will read this are as nice as you are. But I will post Images of my site, changes that I will be doing, stats of my site and I will share my failures and my victories through this blog. I will blog weekly so be sure to come back you check updates out.

By the way, I am Jean Carlo Him a 23 year old Internet Geek. Panamanian. 6 Years of internet marketing experience. I have done it all, sold money making ebooks, ebay trading… you name it! This will be my second attempt to make my blog live again! I feel like Dr. Frankenstein that night…

This post divided on the four main parts that I emphasized the most when I was creating the site. and really are the aspects you should keep in mind while you are creating a site. This Parts are Keywords, Domain Name, Content and Products?

Keywords

I did my keyword research and decided that I will be optimizing this site for only one keyword. This keyword will give me approximately 1100 hits daily, therefore I should get around 40000 hits a month. I only have 49,000 competing pages on the keyword and my website will be fairly the best one out there. Besides offering the products I will provide tips on how to pick the best one, I will blog about information on the niche and try to create a niche community around the niche.

Domain Name

I will keep this simple. I used the keyword that  I am trying to optimize  (Simple SEO technique) plus, a type of word that I like to call “power selling words”. As an example:

My market is: remote controls for TVs

My keyword is: remote controls

So I will try to get a website like this: www.EliteRemoteControls.com

Content

On an eCommerce website you need to have also in consideration that content is also king. You can be a store online. Or, you can be a place in wish people look for information, share thoughts with you and other visitors and also provide solution for their needs. Its way better than a store because as you engage readers, you engage potential customers that might buy something that you recommend they should have. That is my goal with this site. Conversion in a couple of months of steady traffic is going to be ridiculous (At least is what I think).

Remember on a eCommerce store you want to add good products and you also want to have a good description of those products so your buyer will know exactly he is buying. Get pictures and tons of information of the products as you can.

I did only two categories, one for accessories and the other one for the main products I am offering. I like niche stores. Because they are small and if you get the right traffic you can get good sells. On my store I have four products. They are three main and one accessory.

On the upcoming weeks I am planning to add, a Blog for the site talking about the products and the Niche, add videos, and try to make the site as dynamic and Web 2.0 as possible.

The “skeleton” of the website at this moment is almost Finished. I will give the final tweeks this weekend. I will verify product prices with the competition (by the way I am offering super competitive prices), check that all the product description and categories a are where they should be. Make sure that all the meta tags are correctly placed on each page of the website and finally add my store logo and my homepage banner. I had this logos designed professionally, I really recommend that you do this check list before going live.

Products?

Yes, products with a question mark. I don’t own the products, and will own them but only for a short amount of time. My potential customers will go to my site, will find my products and  attempt to buy them and… I will get  my money. But what happens to the product I offered? This where my supplier comes in.

I use Dropshipping. No… that not the name of my supplier. Dropshipping is an interesting way of selling products over the internet. At this moment I have my customers’ money but no product. Once the order is placed I will contact my supplier, I will give him all the details of my customer, name, address phone number so they can ship the product to them. That right, even though I am running this business in Panama City, Panama I will do business with US customers because I the place that will be shipping is also in the US. I am just a link to them.  Of course, they have my credit card number, as soon as I send them the product details and the customers’ information, my credit card will be charged for the wholesale price of the product.

Some people create websites and hope to make a lot of money out of it, but it just won’t work if the don’t follow the procedures  properly as the were  doing an offline company. How to position the web site’s products and services on the web?: Depending on what are  you offering take your time and think about where and how you are going to promote yourself. If it is blog, choose forums , social networks and other blogs on the same industry, or to be the one who would be able to answer questions for the niche an so on. I just want to provide knowledge in the best way possible. That is my main Goal. But to achieve it we need some Strategies to follow and their are measured by Objectives. The Objectives are the short term goals that you will accomplish to get to the main one. For example a couple of my own would be, a) find a template that will be easy for my readers to use, b) use an understandable language etc. Always think customer oriented.

Financial Resources: If you  are selling a product assess your Financial Resources. This depends on what you are selling so I am not going to go to deep into this. The good news is that many times you can publish and maintain a web site for virtually no money whatsoever. In order to undertake a realistic project, however, you should go into the project with a realistic expectation of what financial support the project has.

Market Research : Perform a market research to see if there are a lot of websites already on that niche or, if there is enough amount of customers for you. Analyze every aspect of the research.

On the ecommerce business, we deal with all sorts of people. and if your business is B2C you know it is true. With all the social communication going around, you need to deliver your information in different ways depending who you are directing your product or service too. Marketing is different and better if its done DEMOGRAPHICALY-SOCIAL. I just made up that word. But is true.

For foreigners, the Register of Unique Contributors (RUC)  number, which PanamaEmprende  system must comply, is Identified by the Prefix NT (tax number) will be Assigned. The RUC will be valid for 30 days, starting from the confirmation of the notice issued on the system. The resolution  states that during this period, the parties are obligated to attend to the administration of provincial revenues in order to validate the status.

The consul of the Republic of Panama will legalize the submitted documents in their place of origin or by apositlle.  If the submission was not valid, or it expires it automatically deleted from the system. This is great advance for foreign investor in Panama, in the past, it  took over 30 days  to complete the process. Now it might actually take  five to ten days.

In a matter of three years, Costa Rica has become an attractive site for international companies dedicated to marketing and advertising on the Internet.

The creativity of local graphic designers, easy to use technology, as well as the English language have been crucial to attract the firms like Schematic, avVenta, with its subsidiary, Critical Mass Interactive and The Hangar digitalArbor. The latter two were established this year.

On the local debt market, sovereign bond prices gained 1.3 percent on average in over-the-counter trade, with the dollar-denominated Par 2038 <ARPARD=RASL> climbing 3.39 percent to an ask price of 19.80.
The bond market has got a lift in recent sessions due to end-of-year bargain-hunting, traders say.
On the foreign exchange market, the peso fell 0.56 percent to close at 3.535/3.54 per dollar <ARSB=> in informal trade between foreign exchange houses as measured by Reuters due to demand for dollars to meet end-of-year commitments.

 To make money online many people jump right in before they are properly prepared. You know that to be a rocket scientist, a doctor, a brick layer, a construction worker, an office worker, a teacher there are prerequisites, things you must learn, before you can be successful, you don’t just jump right in unprepared.

The same applies to the Internet marketing industry even though there are unsavory people out there who’d have you believe it’s a “Walk in the Park” and requires no more than the belief that you can just do it.

And I’ll have to admit, it is a walk in the park compared to what you have to put up with in the working world punching a clock being a subordinate to someone who does not have your interests in mind, but there are still rules you have to follow and pitfalls you must avoid to actually make Internet marketing work for you.

Most people will not make a dime online and yet there are others who will make more in one month than most people make in a whole year. Why is that?

My answer begins with the age-old chicken or egg question, “what comes first the chicken or the egg”? Personally I vote for, well never mind, each argument you or I make comes back to the same old conclusion - I have no clue and I don’t think many of us do either.

But one thing I do have a clue about and know for sure is that to make money online you must first have Passion for the company products and/or service of any Internet business from which you expect to make money.

Passion in this sense simply means that you’ve researched and like the company and products or services. It is then that you translate that like (or Passion) into the education, excitement and work that usually accompany Passion.

I will have to say that many online entrepreneurs are so good at what they do that they ignore passion because they can sell anything. But I’m concerned about those of you who are not so knowledgeable at working an online business successfully.

Now, I’m not trying to make anyone believe that Passion is the only thing necessary. Because to be successful you must also have a good website, good marketing, widespread advertising, company support, effective keywords, and etc. Those things are often learned from the company you join - but sidestep Passion and you reduce your chances for success dramatically.

It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won’t attempt to do the work you are being taught.

Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won’t stumble.

You have a great resource in the Internet search engines to search about the Internet Marketing industry for business opportunities, USE IT!

Your research should uncover a company that you like and have confidence in. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don’t find it move on,
You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above.

Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I’ll start that business - does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion. And remember when you hear that an Internet “guru” does that, don’t be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services. голова болит секс

Note: By the way it’s your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed.

Remember, there are other steps you must make before you step into Internet Marketing but if you don’t first find the right company products and services to be passionate about, all of those other steps may just cause you a lot of frustration instead of bringing you great success.

Not being Passionate about a company and products and services that has market proof that it will sell is a pitfall you simply must avoid.
