Obama's Economic plan will affect Latin America

Barack Obama is better known not only because he has been electected as president of the United States but also for the economic plan he has developed, and that is going to be implemented to Improve the current recession that this country is having.

The Reduction of taxes, the help in the creation of jobs, and extending the benefits for citizens who doesn’t have a job, is the big part of Obamas economic plan.  This plan, as promised throughout his campaign, should solve the countries’ economic problems and lead them to long term investments.

Obama’s rescue plan will have repercussions in Latin America. It his not his intention to affect Latin America but, this is a Domino Effect that will affect countries world wide. Latin America depends on high percentage on foreign trade investments and inflation, caused from the price of oil. This is important because, the plan ins financed by the American Treasury of Bond emission.  This Bonds are going to be sold to foreign investors. This means that the investors that will normally invest in Latin America, or at least thought they would, will prefer to give the money to the United States.  This is one of the reason that credit, at the moment has been more difficult to get.
Since the international Investments are going to be less in the following years, the Latin American governments has to reinforce more on specif industries in which they can balance the situation. Some examples could be agriculture, infrastructure investment, push entrepreneurs to make their own companies and look for more resources to make money and of course start taking advantage of ecommerce as a source of money.

How do you think this will affect your country?

Do you think Obamas Plan will succeed?
